Hard Drive Clean Up utility
There're mainly two ways to clean up hard drives: manually clean up and software-based clean up. it is complicated and time-consuming for both beginners and geeks, so in order to save time and complete clean up hard drive, we'll try the software method directly before we get rid of our old hard drives or donate them to the charity.

Credit card account, passwords, deleted photos, movies, music, documentations (word, excel, ppt, pdf, etc), internet activities and other computer operation traces we left in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista and XP.

Download, install and Run ByebyeData Eraser, in the main window, we can see that Eraser has the follow functions: Erase Disks, Erase Drives, Erase Free Space and Erase Files and folders, and Bootable Media. We'll explain each of them in the coming up text:
Erase Disks: Erase Disks functions can be used for both system disk and data disk, when you want to erase system disk, a bootable media is required; but if the data disk, just click on it to erase. After erased, disks are become RAW disk, Disk management will not recognized them unless initialize option is clicked. So if you want to donate a blank disk, make sure it is a cleaned up disk.
Erase Drives: Some of us only had one disk installed but with 4 and more partitions available, Erase Drives option and make partitions clean. Of course, it applies to both system drive and data drives. When you want to donate the hard drive with Windows Operating system in, you can use this option to make data drives clean and keep system.
Erase Free space: This option can be used when you have deleted files and folders in partitions and want to make the unused space clean of nothing. Erase free space function can work with Erase Drives option to make a disk clean and running clean Windows.
Erase Files and Folders: This function can erase individual files and folders, if you have sensitive files in separated folders, you can use this option to erase the specified files and folders instead of the entire partition or disk.
